This one ran from 20 July 2025 to 5 September 2025, about seven weeks, and those dates are printed further up this page. It was handed over in turn-key condition so the client could open straight away.
Your own dates depend on the scope and on how city review goes. Ask for a start date and a finish date in writing before anything is booked.
The page records that mechanical, electrical and plumbing permits were pulled and that final occupancy approval was granted, with an ADA and BC Building Code compliant washroom. It also records that the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire and occupancy inspections were passed with zero deficiencies.
For your own space, ask which permits your scope needs and who is responsible for pulling them, before work starts.
That was the hard part of this job and the page sets it out. Multiple hair-wash stations meant re-routing plumbing inside a concrete slab with only a limited trenching allowance. The dryers, irons, washers and POS equipment needed extra circuits, upgraded panel capacity and GFCI protection. The HVAC was re-balanced and re-ducted because wash areas run humid.
Bring your equipment list to the first site visit. What you plan to plug in and where you plan to put water is what drives the electrical and plumbing scope.
